Nilayo Sports Management Limited (NSML) is proud to announce that our Managing Director, Chief Yetunde Olopade, has been recognized as one of the 2025 Top 50 Most Influential African Women in Sports at an award ceremony held in Kenya.
The prestigious award celebrates women across the continent who are shaping the future of sports through leadership, innovation, advocacy, and impact. Chief Olopade’s recognition underscores her exceptional contributions to sports development in Nigeria and Africa, particularly in advancing large-scale sporting events, fostering youth participation, and driving strategic partnerships across the industry.
With over two decade of experience in sports and events management, Chief Olopade has played pivotal roles in elevating the profile of major events including the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon, PremiumTrust Bank Abuja City International Half Marathon, Remo Ultra Race, Abeokuta 10KM Race, and other NSML-driven initiatives. Under her leadership, NSML continues to champion global standards in event management and sponsorship activation.
Speaking on the recognition, Chief Olopade expressed gratitude to the organizers and reaffirmed her commitment to using sports as a tool for national development and social impact across Africa.
