The Kaduna Half Marathon is a 21.1km road race that made history as the first World Athletics-supervised marathon event in Northern Nigeria. The inaugural edition, held in 2021, drew over 7,000 runners to the streets of Kaduna — a landmark moment for road racing in the region.
NSML served as Project Consultant, working closely with the Kaduna State Government to design, structure, and deliver an event that meets international standards while showcasing the city's hospitality and growing sporting culture. The race secured long-term commitments from the state government and strategic partners, laying the foundation for it to grow into a flagship Northern Nigerian sporting property.
The Kaduna Half Marathon extends NSML's portfolio of World Athletics-aligned road races beyond South-West and South-South Nigeria, reinforcing the agency's role in building world-class sporting infrastructure across the country.
